Law School Commencement

The speaker at this year’s commencement is Judge Anita Usacka, a citizen of Latvia who sits on the International Criminal Court.

Professor Lydia Loren Appointed Interim Dean

Professor Lydia Loren will be the first woman to head the law school.  Loren’s firm commitment to excellence in classroom teaching as well as the importance of engagement in the national scholarly debate will provide Lewis and Clark Law School with outstanding leadership.
 

Law School’s Environmental Law Program Ranked #1

The Law School’s Environmental Law Program is ranked first in the nation, according to the just-released U.S. News & World Report annual survey of graduate programs. The school’s environmental law program was established in 1970—the same year the first Earth Day was held and the year the Clean Air Act was passed.
