On Sunday August 29, I was on a live two hour show on the internet discussing the Doctrine of Discovery, as Europeans applied that international law around the world.
I also talked about my new book “Discovering Indigenous Lands: The Doctrine of Discovery in the English Colonies” which compares the uses of Discovery in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States.
