In this podcast, Ellen Jones, Director of Career Services introduces Erin Zemper ‘04 from the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, Laura Ireland-Moore, the Executive Director for the National Center for Animal Law and an attorney in private practice, and George Okulitch, a lobbyist and legislative advocate with the Tresidder Company.
Animal law is a field that touches on a number of different practice areas including criminal law, contracts, environmental law, torts, and intellectual property. This podcast addresses how animal issues can arise in different areas of the law, opportunities to become involved in animal law issues and the different ways you can be involved whether it is private practice, public sector or through legislative advocacy.
