Judge Susan Graber is introduced by Allison Eshel, 2L co-president of the Women’s Law Caucus. Judge Graber talks about her career and her experiences as a woman in the law. Judge Graber was appointed to the bench of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, in 1998. She served from 1990-98 as an Oregon Supreme Court justice and from 1988-90 as a justice on the Oregon Court of Appeals where she was presiding judge of Department 3 from 1989-90. Before becoming a judge, Ms. Graber worked in private practice and as the Assistant Attorney General in New Mexico. She obtained her JD from Yale Law School in 1972.
