CALI, the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction [2], has created a number of ebooks that include the Federal Rules of Evidence [3], Criminal Procedure [4] and Civil Procedure [5]. CALI's eLangdell Press provides these ebooks as free downloads. They are available for iPads and Kindles, as well as non-Kindle devices. Rather than carrying around print versions of these titles, you can access them on your e-reader devices.
You can also access free casebooks, such as Land Use [6] and Evidence: Best Evidence Rule [7]. Just as the Federal Rules are free to download, CALI makes these casebooks available for free.
All Lewis & Clark Law School students, faculty and staff have access to all of CALI's resources. If you need help registering with CALI, contact the reference desk at lawlib@lclark.edu or 503-768-6688.
