Virtual New Book Shelf

Each week we add dozens of titles to the Boley Law Library collection. Be they books, journals, DVDs, electronic titles or microfiche, keeping up on the latest additions in your subject area can be a research and intellectual boon.

Sure, we encourage browsing of the new book shelf by the reference desk, but only a portion of our new titles ever make it to the shelve. Plus, what about those folks who don't have time to browse the shelf for their area of interest? Who can't find a parking place? Who must receive all information online? What to do?

Check out New Law Titles, your virtual new book shelf. That's what to do.

Every New Title, Every Week

Each week every new title that has been added to our collection - new books, donated books, new law journals, electronic links and text, microfiche collections - gets automatically posted to the New Law Titles database.

When you view them you'll see that they are sorted by the date they are added to our collection. The most recently-added titles are at the top, so you can see at a glance what's new. Keep browsing down and on subsequent pages and you'll find all that's new in the last six months.

Click on a column header and you can re-sort the list by Title, Author, Publisher or Publication Date.

Track by Legal Subject

We add dozens of new titles each week. Rather than have to skim down a long list for books in your areas of interest, we make it easy to find the latest additions by specific legal topic.

Just go to the New Law Titles homepage and click on the subject are of your choice. You'll see the new titles concerning that legal topic, with the latest at the top, and with all the same sort options as with the full-list.

There are over 40 specific legal topics covered. Be sure to check related topics. For example, a title on antitrust regulation of the telecommunications industry may be found in Antitrust and Trade Regulation or in Telecommunications, Transportation, and Utilities Law. We also have a catchall Other category for those items which resist easy classification.

RSS - Let Your Newsreader Alert You to Our Latest Titles

Would you prefer that the latest info come to you, rather than you having to remember to check our New Law Titles database each week? Then give our RSS feeds a try. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides an easy way to keep up with new materials in the legal subjects of interest to you.

All of the New Law Titles legal subjects have RSS newsfeeds. Each week, when the latest titles are added to your list, your newsreader will show you that weeks titles in the subject of your choice. A great way to keep up to date.

Many people already use RSS feeds for tracking news and blogs. You can read them via standalone newsreader such as Bloglines, on personalized pages like My Yahoo or Google Homepage, or in your browser (Firefox or Safari).
