100+ Books About Law

Introducing 100+ Books About the Law, Professor John Kroger's list of titles for students and members of the bar seeking to expand their understanding of their profession.

Prof. Kroger's list of over 100 suggested titles includes many works intended to make the study of law by the case method more coherent and rewarding. Also on the list are books "selected because of their immense influence on contemporary American law or their value for the formation of professional goals and values." And some "simply because they are fun to read."

The list is available at the Law Library's 100+ Books About Law page, complete with links to our catalog and full-text articles. A printable version (pdf) of the list is also provided. For the more tactile among us, please be sure to visit the display case located in the library lobby now showing a selection of the books included on Prof. Kroger's list.
