Network & Server Outages Saturday Night

November 1st, 2004

Starting at 10pm Saturday, November 27, campus network services will be unavailable for a few hours. The College’s IT department is installing new services in their central network/server facility, and at the same time the Law School’s Computing Services department will be relocating our local network servers.

What does all this mean? Starting at 10pm Saturday night, there will not be access to email, internet, any web functions (including Webdisk and Webmail), Westlaw & LexisNexis printing, saving to network drives, printing to network printers, etc.

If you wish to use a computer at school and it has Novell installed, you will need to select “workstation only” when you login during this time.

All should be back online and better than ever by Sunday morning.
