State Session Laws via HeinOnline
February 28th, 2007HeinOnline, our popular subscription database containing the images of thousands of law journal articles, the CFR and much, much more (see below), has added a new digital collection:
Just released, HeinOnline’s State Session Laws digital collection contains the Session Laws (all the laws, acts or ‘public laws’ passed by a legislature during a session) of all 50 U.S. States from approximately 2003 to present. Future online releases will include new Session Laws as published as well as expanded coverage of historical Session Laws prior to 2003.
Over the next few years Hein will continue adding more and more historical Session Laws as far back as the Colonial period of the United States, making State Session Laws an invaluable legal research tool.
Until then, researchers may continue to use our microfiche collection of State Session Laws, looking forward to having full-text search access to the HeinOnline collection in the near future.
