Spring Break Hours

The Law Library will be open during Spring Break ‘07, Mar. 24 – Apr. 1, with altered opening and closing hours.

Lewis & Clark Law School and College students, faculty, staff and the legal community

Monday – Thursday
8am – 10pm
Friday
8am – 6pm
Saturday – Sunday
9am – Midnight

Hours for the general public and Patent & Trademark Office will remain the same. Regular law library hours resume on Monday, April 2.

Oregon Supreme Court Hears Oral Arguments at L&C Law

March 2nd, 2007

On Monday, March 5 the Oregon Supreme Court will be on campus hearing oral arguments in two cases:

  • Costco Wholesale Corp. v. City of Beaverton (9:00 am)
    Statement of Issue: Petitioner City of Beaverton (City) seeks review of a Court of Appeals decision that reversed and remanded, in part, a decision of the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA). More.
  • Nakashima v. Oregon State Board of Education (10:30 am)
    Statement of Issue: Petitioners Oregon State Board of Education (Board) and Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) seek review of Court of Appeals decisions that reversed and remanded for reconsideration a decision of the Board that concluded that because plaintiffs’ proposed religious accommodations would impose more than de minimus costs, OSAA did not violate ORS 659.850 in declining to accept one or more of the proposed accommodations.
