Law Librarians Abound

July 11th, 2008

AALL Portland 2008

Don’t be surprised to run into a few (hundred) extra law librarians at the Law School and in Portland this week. The 101st Annual Meeting of the American Associations of Law Librarians is being held in Portland this year. Over 2,300 people from around the world will be attending.

Most of the meetings will be at the Convention Center and downtown, but a number are also being held at our Law School. There will also be a tour of the school and the Law Library on Monday, giving us the opportunity to show off our beautiful campus, facilities and backyard.

So, if you happen to run into a law librarian (or perhaps a small pack of librarians) in your travels, please feel free to welcome them and give them tips on where to eat, drink, hike, bike, catch a show, etc. They really are just as friendly as your own local law librarian.
