We are please to introduced our newest online service, the Boley Law Library Twitter feed, bringing you the freshest legal resources available.
It is available to enjoy in two flavors:
- On our homepage in the Lawlib Twitter column
(comfortably between our Library Updates and Law in the News blogs); and
- Directly at twitter.com/lawlib
What is Lawlib Twitter
Lawlib Twitter is where we will post news, resources and tips that we think will be of interest and use to the Lewis & Clark Law School community. Using Twitter, we are limited to 140 characters per tweet.
Turns out that should be just about right. Every day we hear about all sorts of legal information, technology and education items that until now we haven’t found a way to share. Twitter’s quick-post nature should allow us to provide these to you as we find them.
Follow Us
Have a Twitter account? Then please feel free to follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/lawlib. We welcome your own tips – just direct your tweets to @lawlib.
No Twitter account? No worries. Just go to our homepage. We pull in the Lawlib Twitter feed, updating the page everytime we post a new update. Clicking on any Lawlib Twitter headline will take you directly to the web site we’re tweeting about.
Not Familiar With Twitter?
Here’s a good, brief description. Basically, Twitter is a social-networking/microblogging service that allows anyone to sign up for a free account, post brief tweets (updates), and receive the updates of other Twitterers accounts (by following them).
It has been hard to avoid Twitter in the news recently; the service has truly taken off in the last few weeks. In fact, just this week it has become clear that social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.) are now used more than email.

What of BoleyBlogs!?
BoleyBlogs!, our first blog (from the old days when it seemed to make sense to name your blog as a verb), will remain. We may use it for the occasional long-form piece when Twitter just won’t do, and we will continue to post our law review updates and faculty scholarship there. BoleyBlogs! remains on the home page, just below Library Updates.
Our other blogs – L&C Law Podcasts, Library Updates, and Law in the News – will remain in daily use and on our homepage.
