/noun/ A particularly impressive or attractive law library; An event at a particularly impressive or attractive law library where students can learn more about the library and its resources.

Boleypalooza- It's a Library Party

There's no party like a library party!

Boleypalooza is a fast paced, fun filled party that will also help you get to know the library resources.

Starting at noon for day students and 4:30 for night students on August 16th, you are sure to learn plenty about the library.

Find out how to check out books, where to find the printers, what's on course reserve, what else the library has that you can borrow, how to use Bloomberg, Westlaw, and Lexis from our database reps, and all about Bacon, the pot bellied pig statue.

Activities begin at noon, lunch/dinner, raffles, and prizes follow.

We're looking forward to meeting you.

What to Expect at Boleypalooza

library card

Boleypalooza will be an outside library party where you can get to know all about the library. Meet us on the library's front porch where you will receive a Boley Reusable Produce Bag, a library mascot waterbottle/laptop sticker, and a library "pocket card". Take that pocket card around to the different Boley stations where a librarian will stamp the station for you and talk about different things you can find at the library. Once you have 5 or more stamps you can enter your name in a raffle at the circulation desk. Raffle items include gift cards for food and books. You can keep your "pocket card" as a bookmark and a reminder of all the ways Boley Law Library can help you throughout your time at Lewis & Clark Law School.

This year we are committing to a theme of reduce, reuse, and renew- so many of our items will help reduce overall waste, be made from reusable materials, or show you how to renew your library materials!

We have pizza for lunch and dinner, so make sure to take a quick trip through the library to pick up food, then eat out on our back porch. You'll love the amazing view of Tryon State Park.

Want to get a jump start? You can use the tabs at the top of this page to find interactive pages about the library website, checking out, the people you'll meet at Boley, a map, and the first research tool you might need as a 1L, study aids, or just follow the "Next" buttons at the bottom of the page.
