Thousands of documents, datasets, and webpages have gone missing from federal websites since January 31. While distinctive in scope, this “Great Takedown” of government information is not entirely unprecedented, and exposes long-standing vulnerabilities in digital preservation and public access.
Join Boley law librarian Adam Anderson in a presentation highlighting the history of federal information disclosure policy, troubling trends in continued access, and practical strategies for locating missing federal documents.
Workshop is Thursday, October 16th at 12:10PM in Wood Hall Room 8.
Slides and a recording of the presentation are available now!
