Think back to your favorite books in elementary school. Did you ever stumble across a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book? The premise of these books is getting to make all of the choices as the main character of the book. Instead of reading it front to back, you skip around following your choices through to the end.
Boleypalooza '25 is a Choose Your Own Adventure- Library Edition. You will be a student faced with many problems that the library can help you solve. Choose wisely and find out all of the insider information about Boley Law LIbrary.

In our orientation you will be the main character: a new law student at Lewis & Clark Law School. You will face many questions like: can I check this out? do you have chargers? how quiet do I need to be in the quiet area? where can I find this book? Our Choose Your Own Boleypalooza will help you learn the answers to the above questions and more. At noon, come to the entrance of the library. There you will receive your own Choose Your Own Boleypalooza book. Read the first page and make your first choice: lunch or adventure first? As you work through the book you will find helpful library staff to answer any questions you may have about the adventure or the library in general. This is a casual orientation, so if you get stuck, make sure to ask for help. After you're done, we will have a 50 minute legal research class. This gives you an opportunity to meet the professors for your Legal Research 1 class and all of our Research and Instruction team. Room assignments can be found on the Boleypalooza+ tab or in your Choose Your Own Boleypalooza book back cover. Evening students will have a similar experience, but we'll begin at 4:30 with a library tour. |
