Welcome to your legal research in class work.

This exercise takes you through a hypothetical and use of secondary sources to come up to speed on a subject. There are very specific instructions to follow. Please follow each step, even if you know the outcome. These steps will help you get you used to using the different databases available to you for all of your legal research and the thought process on choosing the right secondary source in your research.

Keep track of your research in a research log or trail. You will be directed throughout the exercise what to put in your research trail. A blank research log/trail is provided.
