Public Access to Specialized Legal Databases
The following databases are available to the public for use on the public computers located in the Boley Atrium.
Please note: off-campus access is not available for members of the public with the exception of Fastcase. Many databases are available to Oregonians through the State of Oregon Law Library (SOLL). The SOLL provides free access to BarBooks and to NOLO legal information books. Contact the SOLL directly for access to these resources.
Lexis and Westlaw access is available at local public law libraries; in addition, Multnomah Law Library provides access to Bloomberg Law.

Early English Books Online (EEBO) This link opens in a new windowEEBO contains page images of virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700. Includes the first book printed in English by William Caxton, and books through the age of Spenser and Shakespeare and the tumult of the English Civil War. Fastcase This link opens in a new windowFastcase provides online access to federal and state primary law, including cases, statutes, regulations, court rules and constitutions. Fastcase is available to the public at a computer terminal in the Library Commons. You may download your results to a flash drive or print them.
