Back to Boley BlackboardWelcome back from Winter Break! We hope you had some time to relax and take a break from studying and exams.

Getting ready for spring semester will look a little different with the new COVID restrictions for most of the month of January. You can read all the latest on our Coronavirus Response Site. This includes the latest hours and a return of some of our earlier COVID restrictions like limiting study rooms to one person, mask mandates, and social distancing.

Library Hours for January

The library building will be close from January 4-8th. Virtual reference services are available T-F from 12-4. You can use the chat button, email (lawlib@lclark.edu), or make a virtual reference appointment with any of our law librarians.

The library building will reopen on January 9th to our posted hours. Virtual reference will be expanded to 10-4 M-F.

The library will be closed on Monday, January 17th for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Other Happenings at the Library

The library will host a virtual workshop on Finding and Researching Your Paper Topic on January 26th. This workshop is required for all students enrolled in an Individual Research Paper and highly recommended for all students writing a Capstone or WIE.

Think you might be interested in law librarianship as a career? The American Association of Law Libraries has a fellowship for minority students interested in law librarianship. This $5000 summer fellowship is a great introduction to law librarianship and you can choose Boley Law Library as your host institution!! Applications are due April 1, 2022, you can email Meredith (mkostek@lclark.edu) if you have questions.
