Missed the informational meeting about the new Certification in Legal Research? No worries, you can find out more about the program on the Prepare to Practice guide.
At the meeting we discussed the program, what it entails, how to sign up, and where to get started. The program, also called the Prepare to Practice program, is a series of videos, assessments, and live workshops, that is available to all students after completing their first year of law school.
You can read more about the program on the introduction page to the program. You will also find the intent to begin form, which is the first step in completing the program.
Our first live workshop will be September 8th at 12:10 and 4:30 in Room 6. It will be a panel discussion with the Research & Instruction team of law librarians on how they use Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg. Scheduled workshops will be held the second Thursday of the month at 12:10 and 4:30 in Room 6.
