The Prepare to Practice Workshops teach research techniques, tips, and tricks in many subject areas. These workshops will be helpful in summer employment, internships, clinic work, and the practice of law. Each class is taught by a knowledgeable law librarian in short, relevant classes. Held on Wednesdays throughout the semester, you are sure to find a class that will help you succeed in the practice of law.
There are 12 workshops offered throughout the Spring Semester 2020. All students are welcome at the different workshops. If a student attends 6 or more workshops in the Prepare to Practice series, then the student will receive a legal research digital badge specific to this set of workshops, a gift card to the coffee shop, and the ability to begin your summer job with working knowledge of several key research techniques necessary for success as a lawyer.
Couldn't make all of the Spring 2020 workshops? You can still watch the videos and earn a digital badge during summer 2020. More information in the Video tab.
We're here to help. Contact a research librarian for help with an assignment, project, or resource.
