7 October 2023 Book II
by
The chapter "The Baggage of Whiteness" was written by Lewis & Clark Law School Professor David Schraub. 7 October 2023 II: Perspectives offers a glimpse into some of the many perspectives on the horrors of Hamas’ 7 October massacre in Israel and subsequent events in Israel, Gaza, Palestine, and beyond. This is the second of two 7 October 2023 books on the subject published by Mellen Press. The first one I co-edited with Bonita Nathan Sussman: 7 October 2023: Jewish Reflections from Around the Globe. Bonita played an important role in finalizing this work as well.

Aviation Law: A Legal Research Guide
by
Aviation is a large field encompassing both civil aviation and military aviation. This guide focuses on the laws regulating civil aviation. This guide is also primarily focused on the law of suborbital powered flight in manned vehicles. Therefore, the guide does not cover any particular laws on space law, hot air balloons or drones, the latter topic of which has been covered in an earlier research guide published by Hein. This guide takes a two-prong approach to aiding the researcher in this area of law. In the first prong, the major sources of primary and secondary law are reported. In the second prong, primary and secondary authority relating to a particular topic are reported. These two prongs are realized in four parts.
